Di rayze aheym / The journey home is a bilingual English / Yiddish poem written by the trailblazing lesbian poet Irena Klepfisz in the early 1980s. Avi Fox-Rosen set the poem to music creating a 9 song cycle. The adaptation bridges traditional Yiddish musical forms with contemporary songwriting, creating a dialogue between past and present to imagine a vibrant future right here.
